As Finance Director, Andrew is responsible for every aspect of BFY's financial health, from statutory reporting and compliance through to budgeting, forecasting, cash and commercial analysis. In practice, that means giving BFY's leadership and delivery teams the numbers and the context they need to make good decisions quickly, and making sure that as an employee-owned business, BFY grows in a way that is sustainable for its people and its clients. 

Highlights from Andrew's previous roles:

• At Blue Light Card, Andrew built the FP&A function including implementing an FP&A system, cut the month-end close by four working days through implementing new systems and processes, and led the financial modelling and analysis relied on by the Board and the company’s private equity investors
• As Finance Director at EMT Healthcare, a third-generation family business in Nottingham, Andrew transformed both the finance function and the wider business, introducing EOS to bring focus and accountability to the management team, and more than doubling EBITDA in two years through operational efficiencies, pricing, and better commercial insight
• At Capital One, Andrew led long-term planning and modelling for the UK business, working with the senior leadership team to adapt its growth strategy after Covid, enter a new market for the first time in over a decade, and reshape its approach to debt sale in response to changing market conditions
