As a Client Director, Chris partners with clients to operationalise their business strategy into a coherent and optimised change portfolio, by leveraging best practice P3MO approaches and frameworks.
His impact is in driving client transformation agendas, upskilling and empowering leadership teams, and leading transformation programmes to successful outcomes.
Chris has over 20 years of leadership experience, consulting across the energy value chain and as a military engineer in the British Army. At BFY, Chris supports clients in building the capabilities needed to meet tomorrow’s regulatory, customer and organisational ambitions.

Portfolio Management and Transformation Design Lead, UK Energy Group:
Partnered with the Strategic Transformation Director to create a structured business planning function. Introduced lean portfolio management (SAFe 5), turning an unstructured transformation portfolio into a codified, prioritised backlog.
ERP and Customer Information System re-platforming, UK Energy Supplier:
Led the Programme Management function on a £150m customer transformation programme, implementing new ERP, CIS and CRM platforms at one of the biggest UK B2B energy suppliers.
Reporting to the Programme Director and Executive Steering Group, Chris led five blended delivery teams, ensuring alignment to business requirements and successful execution of a new business process model.
Business Change Lead, Electricity Distribution Network Operator:
Led a team of consultants and client change agents in a complex multi-year enterprise asset management and field operations technology implementation programme as Business Change Lead.
Responsible for creating and executing business implementation plans, including training and business readiness activities for 600+ staff. Key outcomes:
- Successfully delivered a critical regulatory compliance solution for managing network defects
- Established a revised change management approach and governance forum to improve adoption during a challenging delivery phase
